And our cohosts of The Kansas City Classic, the Liberty Sapphires, earned 1st Place in 6A Prop, tied for 1st in 6A Dance, and won 1st Overall in 6A!  So happy for them and their coaches Maggie Willis, Kristen Bosiljevac, and Mallory Williams on their back to back State Championship wins!

And a special congratulations goes out to the following teams who had Larkspur conduct perfecting sessions for their competition routines!  We thoroughly enjoyed working with you, and it was a pleasure to see you do so well at State!

Notre Dame de Sion:  1st Place 3A Pom, 1st Place 3A Kick, 1st Place Overall in 3A.  We knew you’d do well!  Congratulations!

Kearney:  2nd Place 3A Mix, 2nd Place 3A Dance, 5th Overall in 3A.  So happy for this team who has worked so hard to build up their program!  It’s paying off!

Lincoln College Prep:  3rd Place 2A Prop, 4th Place 2A Hip Hop.  Nice job, Lincoln Prep!

Lee’s Summit:  1st Place 5A Mix, 1st Place 5A Prop, and finished in the top half overall for 5A!  Proud of this team and all their hard work!  (Tiger Swag, etc etc.)

Lee’s Summit West:  2nd Place 5A Dance, 4th Place 5A Hip Hop, 3rd Place Overall in 5A!  Amazing job as usual, Westside Girls!  It’s been great to see this program grow!

And we’re especially proud of the following teams who performed choreography by Larkspur for their competition routines this year!  A special thank you goes out to our friend and Kansas City Classic Solo Judge, Kristy Schweitz, who gave us some awesome suggestions on how to improve those routines.

Liberty North:  1st Place in 3A Hip Hop!  Routine choreographed by Cassie, Fallon and Melanie.  Routine tweaked and modified by coaches Amy Schirmer and Samantha Lyons and the fabulous Liberty North Golden Girls who added some amazingly visual and mind-blowing parts to the routine, and performed it with all their hearts.  So happy for you and proud of you!  Liberty North also placed 3rd in 3A Dance, and placed 2nd Overall for 3A!  It’s been great watching this young program grow and we feel so fortunate to have worked with such a fun and talented team!

Raymore-Peculiar:  1st Place in 5A Dance!  Routine choreographed by Fallon and Melanie.  Routine modified and tweaked to perfectly fit the awesome Raymore-Peculiar Prowlers by their captains and their coaches Cheryl Gray and Hayley Sexton.  Our goal was to place in the top three, so placing first was an unexpected but really, really sweet result!  Much love goes out to these girls and their coaches!  We loved working with them!  The Prowlers also placed 2nd in 5A Pom, and placed 4th Overall in 5A!

St. Pius X:  Our little sweethearts of the 1A Division placed 3rd in pom with a routine choreographed by Fallon and Melanie, and placed 5th in 1A Mix with a routine choreographed by Cassie and Melanie!  They earned enough points with both routines to place 3rd Overall in 1A!  We are so proud of this team and their coach Jill Hamerle!  They had to work extremely hard this year especially!  1A was so competitive this year with the addition of some new teams.  Placing third was quite an accomplishment and we couldn’t be happier for them!
