Mishra Keller has vast and varied experience in the cheerleading and dance field. She was a cheerleader at the University of Alabama, and went on to become a member of the Birmingham Steeldogs Showsteelers Dance Team, the only AFL dance team to consecutively win Dance Team of the Year four times. She was also a member of another successful AFL dance team: the Philadelphia Soulmates. Mishra was a charter member of the Alabama Repertory Dance Theater and performed in the Dance Alabama! Concert Series. She’s been a member of Southern Danceworks, Alabama’s premier, professional modern dance company. She was a member of Philadelphia’s B-Tru Collective, a group of all female artists that fused B-girlin’ with other creative dance expressions. Mishra danced with the critically acclaimed dance company, The Dance COLEctive, in Chicago, and serves on its Board of Directors.
Mishra continues to choreograph and teach clinics and studio classes. She also works with various cheerleading and dance organizations, including the World Cheerleading Association, Scotcheer, Cheerleaders of America, and Cheersport. She judges cheer and dance team competitions at the local, regional, national and international level. Mishra holds a dual certification in Holistic Health Counseling from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Columbia University. Through her company Nutrisults, Mishra educates dancers and offers them continuous support on how to best feed and nurture themselves, while maintaining healthy bodies.
