Tamara Allen

Tamara Allen is a highly experienced dancer and a strong performer with a varied background that includes over 20 years of teaching, choreographing, and staging.  She was captain of the state champion Saguaro Pom Line in Scottsdale, Arizona.  She went on to University of Arizona where she was a member of the Arizona Dancer’s Consort.  She double majored and received a BSBA in Finance and a BFA in Dance, and earned magna cum laude honors, having graduated with a 4.0 grade point in both majors.  Her other dance training includes the Campbell Dance Academy in Scottsdale, Gus Giordano’s Jazz Dance World Congress in Chicago, and Ballroom Dance from the Fred Astaire Dance Studios.

Tamara was an instructor, choreographer and director for national dance camps, private clinics, and instructional videos while working for Dancz America.  She was an NFL Arizona Cardinals Cheerleader, and appeared in the movie “Jerry Maguire.”  She went on to become a professional dancer in several productions across the country.  She was featured in the Cantina Show by Twilight Productions in Arizona, the Country Tonite Show in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, “Brett Daniels Magic and Beyond” in Mississippi, and Greg Thompson Productions’ Wild Wild West Show in Branson, Missouri.  She was a dancer in the  Shoji Tabuchi Show, which broadened her experience to include elaborate costumes and props such as cowboy ropes, rain sticks, hand bells, and Japanese Taiko drums.  Tamara then joined the most popular and ever growing national live tribute production Legends In Concert, first as a dancer, then as dance captain becoming responsible for hiring dancers, teaching choreography, and staging the show.

She has performed with national country music artist Toby Keith, and has choreographed a variety of material for The Whiskey Girls.  She has also choreographed a performance for American Idol finalist Scott MacIntyre.
