Aerial Fabrics!

I am so very, very excited about our newest endeavor!  The ladies of Larkspur have decided to broaden our dance repertoire to include aerial silks!  You know, the Cirque de Soleil thing where you wrap, suspend, fall, swing, and spiral into and out of various positions on a suspended fabric.  No safety lines, which is a bummer, but so far we are coping.  Our instructor is Rachel McMeachin and she is one of the most awesome and exquisite individuals we have ever had the pleasure of knowing.  She’s in charge of Voler – Thieves of Flight, which is this really neat aerial fabrics collective.  So much fun, but challenging as all get out.  Here’s some photos.  Please disregard Fallon’s outfit.  Poor thing.  It must have been laundry day.
