Congratulations to The Kansas City Classic teams who earned well-deserved trophies at the Missouri 2014 Dance Team Championship this past Saturday, February 16th at Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri!
Barstow: 2nd Place 1A Hip Hop, 4th Place 1A Dance
Pembroke Hill: 2nd Place 2A Dance, 3rd Place 2A Pom, 3rd Place Overall in 2A
Notre Dame de Sion: 1st Place 3A Kick, 1st Place 3A Pom, 1st Place Overall in 3A
Warrensburg: 5th Place 3A Pom, 5th Place 3A Dance
Winnetonka: 5th Place 4A Hip Hop
Fort Osage: 3rd Place 4A Pom
Kearney: 2nd Place 4A Hip Hop, 5th Place 4A Dance, 4th Place Overall in 4A
Oak Park: 4th Place 4A Dance, 1st Place 4A Mix
St. Teresa’s Academy: 4th Place 5A Dance
Lee’s Summit: 2nd Place 5A Mix, 4th Place 5A Pom
Lee’s Summit North: 2nd Place 6A Dance, 4th Place Overall in 6A
And our cohosts of The Kansas City Classic, the Liberty Sapphires, earned 1st Place in 6A Dance, 4th Place in 6A Pom, and won 2nd Overall in 6A! So happy for them and their coaches Maggie Willis, Kristen Bosiljevac, and Brandi Moore!

Smithville: 1st Place 2A Prop, 1st Place 2A Pom, 2nd Place Overall in 2A!
Liberty North: 1st Place 3A Hip Hop, 1st Place 3A Mix, 2nd Place Overall in 3A!
Lee’s Summit West: 1st Place 5A Dance, 1st Place 5A Prop, 1st Place Overall in 5A!
Park Hill South: 4th Place 5A Hip Hop, 2nd Place 5A Dance, 5th Place Overall in 5A!
Raymore-Peculiar: 1st Place 5A Mix, 1st Place 5A Pom, 4th Place Overall in 5A!
St. Pius X: We were so excited for these little sweethearts of 1A! They placed 3rd in 1A Mix with a routine choreographed by Melanie and Cassie, and they placed 1st in 1A Dance with a routine that was a collaboration of the efforts of their captains, Melanie, Cassie and Fallon! They earned enough points to win 4th Place Overall in 1A! So proud of the SPX Pommies!
