The Whiskey Girls and The Wilders!

What a fun night!  We got to dance with critically acclaimed and award winning bluegrass band The Wilders!  They’re getting ready to leave for a tour of the UK, so best of luck to them!  I think Donnette and Mishra are still hanging out at the William Wallace Monument, so they should swing by and say hello.  🙂  Anyway, they were just the most delightful little trio on earth. And so very, very talented!  As a matter of fact, I’m going to buy their music on iTunes!  Bam!  Just did!  And you should, too.  Might I suggest the songs Bull Shoals and No. 7.  Excellent house cleaning songs.  Frantic “gotta get this done” tempo.  Very heavy on the fiddle, so consider yourselves warned if you don’t care for that instrument.  I, for one, love it.  (Grandpa smiling down from heaven.)  We got featured in the paper, and that’s always fun!   I’d like to point out that the backs of our shirts do indeed have the word “Tonk” written on them, and we weren’t just running around in white tank tops that say honky, albeit an accurate description.  Many thanks to The Wilders, and to Cassie for booking this gig, and to Spaghetti Western for the wardrobe!
