Sara Heptig coached the Olathe North Eaglettes for years, leading them to national championships for two different brands. She is now coaching the Kansas State University Classy Cats, a role she cherishes because she too was a Classy Cat during her time at K-State! We talk about her journey to secure that coaching position, which wasn’t an easy process, and I love the life lessons she shares from that experience. I also picked her brain about coaching a high school team vs. a college team, her sweetest victories, building team culture, and how to keep morale up during the pandemic. She shares so much great info! Sara is one of the best coaches I know, and also one of the best people I know, and we’re all so fortunate to have her in the dance team world!
